New features coming soon!!

Comments keep discussions organized right alongside the files in your Dropbox or any file shared with you.  — just type the “@” sign followed by an email address, and your colleagues will receive email and mobile notifications. Supported on all file types and are available on the web and the Dropbox mobile app for iOS

New collaboration features

If your colleagues team work often in Microsoft Office files on the desktop you won’t have to worry about who else is editing a file or whether they are on the latest version. With the Dropbox badge, you can see all of that information right from the document you’re working on. In Microsoft Office documents, the badge will:

  • Show who else is viewing or editing the file
  • Check if there’s a more recent version, and give you the option to update with just a click
  • Provide a quick way to see previous versions of the file
  • Generate a link to share the document, without ever leaving the application

Support available for Microsoft Office 2007 and later on Windows and Microsoft Office 2011 on Mac.
